Linda May Hoole

Linda May Hoole, born on December 22, 1948, in Paola, Kansas, gracefully departed this life on February 6, 2025. A cherished wife, beloved sister, and devoted friend, Linda's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, faith, and an abiding passion for her family and interests.

Linda graduated from La Cygne Rural High School, where her spirit and ambition began to define her journey. On September 1, 1984, she united in marriage with James Hoole in Kansas City, Missouri. Their shared life was a testament to partnership and devotion, filled with mutual support and warmth.

A dedicated member of the Catholic faith, Linda found solace and strength in her spiritual community. She cultivated a wide range of hobbies that reflected her vibrant personality. Whether crocheting delicate pieces, engaging in challenging puzzles, or passionately cheering for her favorite teams—the Kansas City Chiefs and Nebraska Huskers—Linda approached every interest with enthusiasm and joy.

She is survived by her loving husband, James Hoole; her brothers, Jim Farris (Glenna) and Butch Farris; as well as two nephews and three nieces who will fondly remember her kindness and uplifting presence.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lenona Farris, and her sister-in-law, Judy Farris. Each of these individuals played a significant role in her life, shaping the woman she became and contributing to the cherished memories that will carry forward.

Memorial services in honor of Linda will be held at Valor-Brown Funeral Service in Grain Valley, Missouri. A visitation is scheduled for February 17, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM. Both events will take place at 30000 Valor Drive, Grain Valley, MO 64029.

As we reflect on Linda’s life, we are reminded of her warmth, humor, and unwavering spirit. Her presence will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
