Linda Marie Welsh

Linda Marie Welsh, 76, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2025, (New Years Day) with her family by her side. She was born July 28, 1948 to Russell G. and Lenore Kelly Meyers in Brainerd, Minnesota. Linda is survived by her sisters, Jeannie Parker, Cindy Meyers and Brother-In-Law, Jim Reisdorf, Kelly Jo Horgan and Brother-In-Law, Jim Horgan, and Mickey Brandes-Leslie and Brother-In-Law, Paul Leslie. Linda is also survived by her nieces, Stacey Parker, Callie Parker, Emily Larson, Briann Schmidt, Shannon Meyers and also her Nephews, Travis Hagg, Troy Parker, Corey Flaten, and Taylor Meyers. Linda sold Real Estate for many years, was an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs but her real love and passion was her Great Danes. She showed and bred Great Danes off and on for over 45 years traveling all over the country with her beloved Great Danes. Some of her most favorite Danes were Ch. Von Raseac’s Windsong of which she acquired from Bruce Mitchell, one of the top breeders in the country back in the 70’s and MBISS GCHG ArborHills Hunk A Burning Love, AOM (CHIC), Elvis, of which she co-owned with Derek and Nikki Leah.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Linda Welsh at Park Ridge Clubhouse, 4309 NE Pk Rdg Blvd, Lee’s Summit, MO 64064 on January 18th, 2025 at 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
